You know how nowadays
spending long amounts of time on the internet is seen as strange and odd and sad by some, do you think it'll be looked back on in the same way "sitting by the wireless" or "sitting round the piano" is now?
I know its more of a one-person thing, but with forums and MSN, its not really, is it?
"Its not like back in my day, when we used to be quite content to go on the internet for a few hours every night."
Yes. I hope you also realise that you know how everyone fears getting old and being locked in some old folk's home, watching Murder She Wrote and CHANGE THIS HOUSE programmes all day long until you die? Well we won't have to do that sort of thing.
Think about it. Sod sitting there going suicidal. We'll all be sitting on lap-tops and having tournaments on Pro Evo with the other old grandads.
In other words: don't fear getting old. Look forward to it. So you might not be able to control your willy and batty-crack. OH WELL. You'll be able to look back and say "Thank God times have changed and we're not all watching Ready Steady Cook."
