I saw a little one in my new apartment the other day. :'( And of course I can't kill it, so they're just going to multiply. Eurrrrgh.

His name is Marty.
By the way. I didn't want to name him, I didn't mean to name him, but he's just such a Marty.
was expecting a thread about dissers
tbh
I saw one in a Subway
on Las Ramblas last week. Thankfully my food was already eaten.
Mmmm footlong tapas sub...
?
i
just saw one in my kitchen. i got it good with the raid. fuck you roachy.
Tehehe
"Cock".
kill it
KILL IT
srsly.
there are few things worse than living in a place with cockroaches.
and they make such a lovely crunching sound
when you stamp on them
DON'T!
If you crack open a cockroach with a well-placed boot, it will spit its eggs everywhere. You'll have a roach army in your house before you know it. Spray it with Raid.
I get roaches in my house all the time because of the heat. They are total bastards. I even found one in my jeans once as I was getting undressed.
Hate hate hate
come on now
that is a total myth. and anyway you can quite easily clear up the remains and throw them in the street.
stamp, spray, trap, do anything. those sticky pads that they all get stuck to really make me shiver
It's not a myth in my experience
Given that I live on a compound that is teeming with roaches, I think I might have some inkling.
ive been there honestly
and done some research into it. all the reliable sources told me to ignore that one - apparently its total bullshit.
but its hard to have faith in that advice as you stand to make quite a loss if it turns out to be true!
cockaroaches.
I feel very differently about cockroaches now
since reading "Metamorphosis".
It made me very sad.
That is all for now.
trap them in disused pint glasses
grab hold of a big can of hairspray, take the little bastard things out of the house, drop them on the pavement, spray the hairspray, set a match to it, and watch them die. it takes ages.
this was my old hippy housemate's idea by the way. he's a proper hippy, so i assume he wasn't worried about karmic bad luck or anything. they must have done something bad to be cockroaches in this life.
i felt pretty awful though, even though they are horrid horrid creatures.
that sounds amazing
next doors dog used to eat ours sometimes
