Tactical Waste Disposal Action: Oil and Grease Edition
You make a bacon sandwich. You are however, using Asda own brand bacon, which though cheap, contains much water, leading to massive quantities of grease and oil buildup in the pan.
Pouring this oily mess down the sink can cause blockages and also tends to attract rats and mice.
Fortunately, cooking oil can be re-used. Pour it into a bottle and save for future bacon sammichs. Or, if that's too sick for your delicate sensibilities, take that bottle out into the garden and spread it around in the flowers. Oil contains useful minerals to plants and you'll soon find your begonii in rude health.
Safe.
