Footballers Charged With Burglary

Southampton footballers Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips have been charged with burglary after items were allegedly stolen from a nightclub staffroom.
Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright-PhillipsIt follows an incident at the Bar Bluu in Southsea when items were taken from three handbags.
Nightclub staff claimed that during a night when the venue hosted R&B star Kano, three mobile phones, £145 in cash, student cards and cigarettes were taken from three handbags.
Hampshire Police launched an investigation after two men were filmed on CCTV entering an unlocked staff area in the early hours of February 28.
Dyer, 20, and Wright-Phillips, 23, who both live in Briton Street, Southampton, attended Portsmouth Central Police Station today.
They were charged and bailed to appear before the city's magistrates' court on July 8.
Southampton Football Club has declined to comment while the matter was being investigated and the case goes through the courts.
