Do I quit college?
My lecturer called me today to see where I was (I wasn't in class) and she says I've missed too much college and she'll fail me unless I prove myself by completing a 'task' for Thursday, despite the fact I don't actually have to be in college on Thursday. I'm also behind in pretty much other unit.
SO! Do I spend the rest of today and tommorrow doing this task, skip my yoga class on Thursday and hand it in? Then pull my socks up and work really hard for the next couple of weeks to pass the course?
Or.. Do I just keep plodding along and enjoy working at a slow pace, which will undoubtedly cause me to fail?
Or.. Do I quit the course completly?
Other points to note... The course I'm doing is an HNC in Contemporary Art, I already have an HNC in Art and Design from last year, which is essentially the same thing.
I have an unconditional for direct entry to second year Fine Art at uni next year, so I don't need the qualifiction or anything.
I've been given a project to do for uni before I start, which is going to tke a long time, so quitting this course will give me time to focus on that.
I'm also skint and working some extra hours will prove helpful in saving up for moving out in September.
Although, it's so close to the end of the year, it seems silly to quit now and I'll miss the chance to display my work in an exhibition if I leave.
Sorry for the length of this post, but I'm so undecided. Advice please, anyone?
