Stupid Work emails/people at work

We love our head of research, this is the woman who sent out an e-mail telling everyone not to speak to any of her team for the whole of October as they were far too busy (she spends her days on the phone coordinating the renovation of her house and the repair of her canal boat), and doesn't actually respond quickly (or at all) to e-mails requesting information, but she responds pretty quickly here! My boss had to go for a walk before replying, I would have liked to have seen what would have been said if she had just fired off an instant reply.

Subject: Your lights were left on all night
Hi guys,
I know I've mentioned this before, but your lights were left on all night last night.
Your light switch is easily accessible for all of you as it is inside the Comms dept, but it is not close to the main door for anyone else to control. Quite apart from the cost to SkillsActive I imagine you will all want to play your part in saving the planet. Please, please turn the Comms lights off.
Thanks,

Subject: Lights left on al night in Comms
Hi Comms,
It's me again on the subject of your lights being left on. As I am usually the last person to leave it falls on me to turn out the main lights by the door. Last night you had again left your lights on. It happens regularly.
It's not fair that I should risk missing my train because I have to walk all the way round to your light switch when you can't be bothered to turn them off yourselves. I suggest if you really cannot manage to switch your lights off, that the side door to Comms is unlocked so that others can do it for you.
Regards,

Hi,
I appreciate your concerns about the lights in the comms area and you will notice that we have put up some reminders around the area to turn off the lights for the last to leave.
We of course do not want you to miss your train by turning off the lights, but it is not because 'we can't be bothered to turn them off ourselves' – a little harsh I think.
We may forget on occasion to turn the lights off, particularly as we have just moved into the area of the office that is not connected with the main light switch. However, we are not doing this to disrupt you in anyway.
If the office manager has any suggestions other than the reminder notices, I would be happy to hear them.

Why don't you unlock the door until you've mastered the lights? That way it would not inconvenience me to act as back-up.

Subject: The Coats cupboard is full of suits
It is quite impossible to hang your coat in the coat cupboard these days because the suits in there never leave. It is full after the last person has left at the end of the day.
Could the owners of the spare clothes possibly keep them at home?
Thanks,
Has anyone read this? It's a novel told through workplace e-mails and is rather amusing.
