oh the pain! <unfitcentric>
so after roughly 12 years out of the game, tonight I made my footballing comeback in goal for a 6-a-side match (we won 7-4 by the way). And after just 5 minutes by right thigh was fucked, not pulled as such cos I'm sure I'd be in a lot more pain, but I've strained it or summat and I don't think I'll be able to negotiate stairs tomorrow.
So my question is this: does anyone have any advice on how to deal with such an 'injury'. I've been told that stretching it now will only make it worse, or that I should get some deep heat spray. Is this good advice?
