To be an employable journalist,
is it advisible, or indeed necessary, to have a bachelors degree in Journalism? Or can you just do a postgraduate masters?
I've had a brainwave, which will either make me even more attractive to employers, or be the worst idea I've ever had. I do a joint bachelors degree in:
Sociology (major)
Politics (minor)
Then from that, I move onto a masters Journalism degree.
There's a risk in looking unfocussed, which I'm not, but I want to put a bit of variation into my studies, and make it as enjoyable as possible.
Thanks for the advice in advance ;)
