one of the guys that plays for my football team used to box and wasnt far away from turning pro. he has been taking us twice a week into his boxing gym and putting us through our paces. It is absolute hell on earth. We do 5 2 minute rounds of shadow boxing, 6 2 minute rounds of bag work plus a session on the pads in the ring with him....then we do circuits of sit ups, jacknifes, squat thrusts, press ups and leg raises...before finishing with a run and coming back to the gym and holding these weights out in front of us for as long as we can.
I have been coming out of there with not an ounce of moisture in my body. its a proper spit n sawdust sweatbox of a gym but after we have completed it and had a shower i feel absolutely buzzing!
if anyone wants to get fit, this is the best way to go about it i think
