L:unch with Prole: Would it matter if your life was just ordinary?
Would it really matter if you didn't get to do what you really wanted to do and just ended up being just 'ordinary'? I wonder how many people you see on a daily basis who are still 'going to do something one day'(we're ignoring killers here) not actually knowing that the 'one day' is about as likely to happen as the sun winking at you? I suppose you could trawl a graveyard and ponder the same thing as well, but with a guarantee that those dreams, unless they were suidide, lay unfulfilled.
This is what makes the end of 1984 so romantically haunting to me really - youre not really that important to the relentless machine and until you realise that you aren't going to be happy.
This is all ponderance by the way.
Heh heh.
Sorry I meant tee hee.
