Hobbies!
Of course everyone knows the 1965 flop single by Jenny Moss (produced by Joe Meek), but does anyone actually HAVE a hobby? And no, touching yourself furtively at dog funerals doesn't count. Not anymore anyway.
Its a simply beautiful word that seems to have fallen from the 'lexicon' in favour of 'manflu' or something silly - I say MORE HOBBIES - my Dad used to build churches out of matchsticks, usually as a way to keep his mind of the Teachers but it worked, and now in his wake he left masterpieces Pugin and Foster would covet without an ounce of shame. Or tobacco.
So - what would your old fashioned-modern 'hobby' be?
