Bloody hell, aloud.com is absolutely buggered.

has anyone managed to actually get tickets yet?

I managed to enter all my details, pressed submit and got the fucking error page.

I've been trying for the last 40mins, keep getting the error page.My dad panicked me by saying that it didnt mean the transaction hadnt gone through, but if its not just me that couldnt get tickets then it should be OK. Eeek

  Apparently we're the lucky ones for even getting to the enter details page...
  
  The phone lines are equally as buggered, i was trying to ring up to see if my transaction had actually gone through despite the error page but it's always engaged. So has the transaction gone through for us d'you think?

    It better not have done, otherwise I might have cost my dad thousands of pounds. And then I because I had tried to book more than once they wouldn't let me go :( I will actually cry if I can't go.

      I know, I've been feeling really relaxed about it with the new no-touting two per person policy thinking yeah i'll be able to get my ticket no probs, and now i'm kinda getting that sickly panicky feeling like what if i can't go?! oh buggering hell...

        the thing is, though, last year it took 23 hours to sell out, right, and that was without all these antitouting devices.

      haven't even got as far as the details yet myself, and i'm trying net and phone at the same time. I knew i should have gone with the give-my-details-to-my-friend-at-wayahead idea. doh.

        i'm in a uni comp room, i can count 17 people in exactly the same position as me!! quite funny really! they're just the ones i can see as well, there is probably hundreds all round uni.

    two things: 1) if you submit the page multiple times, its impossible to buy more than 2 tickets thanks to the clever systems at aloud.com
    2) radio 1 tell me that they are going to increase the bandwidth available to the site very soon - no word on the phonelines atm.

        yeah, i appreciate there is no way they could cope with the demand. It happened with Radiohead's W.A.S.T.E site last year. It just seems that all planning they did for this year's ticketting didnt take the demand for tickets into account.

        tom, i got mine without realising so i couldnt tell you which transaction it was which bought me the tickets as i got nothing like a confirmation screen! my advice is to keep checking email account everytime you get an error message as it may not be one.         I think, from what i've heard, Surferosa are meant to be pretty good. Stupid choice of name, though. Although i suppose it could've been Comeonpilgrim, or something even worse.

        If you're back at the beginning you can get an order page by working offline for a second and then going to it from then (assuming you have done it once already)

        this has become a fucking farce. radio1 say selling at 10,000 an hour. HOW THE FUCK can that be true if no-one can get on the bastard website or call the fucking useless ticket company. Remind me never, EVER, to defend aloud.com, or buy a ticket from them after this.
        
        and the worst thing is, this will now happen every year. it'll be part of the experience, not being able to go with your mates cos they cant get a fucking ticket.

        Ha ha, look at how many of you are pissed off at not getting tickets. As Timbalake would put it..."ba ba ba, I'm loving it". There's nothing better than seeing other people getting really dissapointed that they can't do something...and knowing full well I could even get a couple of tickets for Glasto and use them for confetti if I please... it's a case of whether the line-up can convince me that the weekend is worth my time (time=money, remember kids).

        Don't blame aloud, their site has been up and running since about 40 minutes after tix went on sale.
        
        Blame, once again, WayBehind......the biggest and shittest ticket retailer on the face of the planet, who's system is what appears to actually be causing the problem!

        I just got the exact same thing....wierd.
        
        I've been checking email every 5 minutes, there was no confirmation screen and yahoo mail helpfully plonked the email confirmation in my "junk" folder......
        
        Email was timestamped 1.48am, but I swear to god it wasn't there until at least 2.20am.......

hey! it seems that everyone is getting through excluding us! i dont know what the hell is going on! but if u do get an error page after you've filled in your details check your emails as u dont get an actual confirmation page come up just and email is sent to you! SO CHECK!
its really starting to razz me off i gave up at 4am and i started again at lunchtime!
glastonbury have screwed this up entirely

  Can't believe you deleted all those posts Sean! Gutting, you completely killed this thread! Well to update all my friends I was was here with until the small hours - I got 2 tickets (finally) at about 1pm, via the Freya link. Can't believe it! My sister's got one too, but none of my other friends have managed it. It's going to be a lonely old time for me there if my best buddies don't get tickets :-(
