it is 50 if unreleased. So presumably that means in 2033 that all Beatles early stuff will become in the public domain and free? That can't be right can it? I suppose it hasn't really been an issue until now. Why wasn't there such a fuss over things like early Elvis songs in the mid 00s?

you get loads of old jazz records from the 1950s issued in knock off nigel packages with weird fake cover art and the songs have different names and stuff....it's really odd
