now that would suggest there will be a Dublin date later in the year after the new albums out. And of course it depends whether they are counting Belfast as part of Ireland or UK.
13-16 June: Bonnaroo Festival (not on the National site, but on the Bonaroo one)
21-23 JUNE: HURRICANE FESTIVAL EICHENRING, SCHEESSEL, GERMANY
21-23 JUNE: SOUTHSIDE FESTIVAL NEUHAUSEN OB ECK, GERMANY
25 JUNE: CIRQUE ROYAL BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
28 JUNE: LIVE AT THE MARQUEE CORK, IRELAND
30 JUNE: PARCO DELLA MUSICA ROME, ITALY
1 JULY: CITY SOUND FESTIVAL 2013, MILAN, ITALY
02 JULY: SALATA, ZAGREB, CROATIA
14 JULY: BUNBURY FESTIVAL 2013 CINCINNATI
Royal Festival Hall was the best "proper" gig I've seen them do, although overall, nothing will top the first time I saw them, playing the whole of Boxer, plus Abel and Mr November, at FOPP in Tottenham Court Road.
glastonbury, then.
I reckon
The National will be headlining the other stage on one of the days
naaaa
surely not the right kind of act for other stage headlining? west holts maybe?
aaaarrggghhhhh
doesn't sound like much of a tour to me, champ.
hope they play All The Wine on this tour
PLEASE
Not sure I can be bothered to travel that far
I saw it somewhere that it's their only Irish show this summer

Wait, so is this tour national or european?
*doffs cap*
Goodbye.
Added a few more

So Glastonbury on the 29th, potentially?
YES YES YESSSSS!
looks like it. bloody hope so.
Where would they play at Glastonbury?
If Panic at the Disco can headline The Other Stage, maybe The National are big enough do that now too...?
They played before Pulp at reading and headlined latitude
Other stage headlining slot is perfectly feasible.
That is lovely but will they come to London?
In fact, I'd rather they just got their heads down for a new album. I NEED ONE.
Hmmm.
Where'd we think they'd play in London (if at all)? Hammersmith?
is Yoko Ono a fan?
Maybe at Meltdown if so? I doubt they really fit in there.
Somerset House would be pretty spectacular (especially if it was truly torrential rain!)
ohmy, yes,
Somerset House would be an excellent setting.
I don't think The National are a Meltdown band personally.
Way too popular. Although saying that, sometimes that a stand out act.
They're probably big enough for Ally Pally these days
Hope they don't play there though
LIVE! AT WEMBLEY AREEEENNAAA
A few Festival Hall shows would be magnificent
Doubt it'll be that though
I think I prefer seeing them when stood up though.
As much as I loved them at the RAH.
Electric Ballroom was the best show of theirs that I've seen
But RFH was really close, everyone stood up after the first song or so anyway and the sound was exceptional.
ulu was better than electric ballroom imo
back when matt was allowed to smoke during the gig
The Ballroom one and the last ATP show are my favourite times I've seen them.
The Ballroom one slightly less because all The National fans in London are obscenely tall.
Ballroom was good, but tainted by too much High Violet
Royal Festival Hall was the best "proper" gig I've seen them do, although overall, nothing will top the first time I saw them, playing the whole of Boxer, plus Abel and Mr November, at FOPP in Tottenham Court Road.
shhh, you
:(
they did three brixtons
which is up to 15,000 people. maybe ally pally :( or one of the things in the olympic park or (more likely) hyde park
