Brian Fallon
Just wanna test the water on here about him following the Springsteen thread... I genuinely can't help but love the guy. He has the odd nuance that irks me - some of his homage lyrics sail close to raw plagiarism rather than tribute IMO - but on the whole he's brilliant.
I saw them when at one point they broke into Trusty Chords by HWM, and of course his relationship with the Boss itself is pretty magic.
I like that he's proper welling up at the magnitude of the situation while he sings!
So what say you, either on TGA or Horrible Crowes?

Saw Gaslight last year at Brixton
While much of their music is very derivative, and I'm now sick of hearing the phrase 'with the radio on', I do like TGA. They're the nicer sort of earnest, and I like the Springsteen vibe. Also they give the right amount of respect to Pearl Jam.
he's putting out a solo album this year
it'll be interesting. Horrible Crowes went all ballad-friendly and...I wonder if he's destined for greatness. Quietly Christian, big rock outs, Springsteen heir surely = multi million super artist on his own...
Decent enough cover this....

Fucking love Gaslight, pastiche or not.
Though I found their live show in Brixton recently a bit disappointing.
Brain Fallon, thumbs up.
Gaslight are good, but bar a couple of songs
They're essentially a one album band. The '59 Sound is amazing, but everything after that just seems a bit lacking.
some great tunes on the first album
the rest have a few good tracks each, barring 59 sound which is amaze
yeah i think he's going to break away from that
he's hinted as much
