2 Rights Make 1 Wrong > May Nothing But Happiness Come Through Your Door > I Love You, I'm Going to Blow Up Your School > Emergency Trap > With Portfolio > Golden Porsche > George Square Thatcher Death Party.
Satellites > Birds Flew Backwards >>>>>>>>> Melody Calls > One of These Days
Lost Souls is a classic, but Melody Calls is pure skip-fodder, especially with Catch The Sun coming right after it. One of These Days is just one of the worst things Doves have recorded. The other two are eargasms though.
After the bleakfest of the first half, particularly the title track, it works as a good palette-cleanser for the second half. Really don't like Birds Flew Backwards. Satellites is awesome though
The Flowers Of Guatemala > Belong > Tongue > Catapult > Sad Professor > Monty Got A Raw Deal > Orange Crush > Green Grow The Rushes > Letter Never Sent > Until The Day Is Done > The One I Love > Beat A Drum > Departure > Mine Smell Like Honey > Wanderlust
If We Wait > Surgical Focus > Game of Pricks > Unleashed! The Large-Hearted Boy > Yours to Keep > Back to the Lake > The Unsinkable Fats Domino > No Sky > Keep It In Motion > Key Losers > I Am Produced > Marchers In Orange > The Drinking Jim Crow > Club Molluska
Gold Soundz > Embassy Row > Ann Don't Cry > Motion Suggests > Chesley's Little Wrists
Probably the only time I'd stick a track from Slanted at the end of a list.
4st 7lb > Facing Page: Top Left > Roses In The Hospital > Little Baby Nothing > I'm Not Working > The Girl Who Wanted To Be God > Wattsville Blues > Golden Platitudes > Emily > Autumnsong
Life Is A Pigsty > Wide To Receive > Suedehead > I Am Hated For Loving > Driving Your Girlfriend Home > That's How People Grow Up > Best Friend On The Payroll > You're The One For Me Fatty > How Can Anbody Possibly Know How I Feel?
You Can Have It All > Cornelia and Jane > A Worrying Thing > Stockholm Syndrome > I'm On My Way > The Room Got Heavy > Paul Is Dead > Always Something > How To Make A Baby Elephant Float
I still haven't heard the first three albums so I can't rank those. Icarus?
Careful with That Axe, Eugene > Interstellar Overdrive > Any Colour You Like > Childhood's End > Jugband Blues > Goodbye Blue Sky > Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict > Take It Back > Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert > A New Machine (Part 1) > Party Sequence
Cowboy Dan > The Cold Part > Baby Blue Sedan > Dance Hall > King Rat > She Ionizes & Atomizes > Way Down > Here it Comes > We Got Everything
I'm not really too keen on Sad Sappy Sucker. Also, I ALMOST want to grandfather in "Edit The Sad Parts" even though it is track 5, but it's the last one on Interstate 8.
Cowboy Dan > Baby Blue Sedan > She Ionizes and Atomizes > Here It Comes > King Rat > The Cold Part > It Always Rains On A Picnic > We've Got Everything > Dance Hall > Way Down
Also, while looking at the tracklist for the vinyl edition, it puts Trailer Trash at #7, which means the list stays exactly the same, other than that, because Trailer Trash is incredible.
I saw them play a benefit show last year, and he opened with that. I wept.
Weezer
Say It Ain't So > El Scorcho > Smile > The Damage In Your Heart > Burndt Jamb > Hang On > Love is the Answer > Thought I Knew
^ correct
Burndt Jamb needs bumped up to 3
Say It Ain't So > El Scorcho >>>>>>>>> the rest
7s are often very good, particularly on ten track albums...

Mogwai
2 Rights Make 1 Wrong > May Nothing But Happiness Come Through Your Door > I Love You, I'm Going to Blow Up Your School > Emergency Trap > With Portfolio > Golden Porsche > George Square Thatcher Death Party.
Not a good number for Mogwai.
I'd move George Square Thatcher Death Party way up the list
Golden Porsche too
I'd put it lower if I could.
Doves...

Disagree on Melody Calls
After the bleakfest of the first half, particularly the title track, it works as a good palette-cleanser for the second half. Really don't like Birds Flew Backwards. Satellites is awesome though
Swervedriver
Ejector Seat Reservation > A Change Is Gonna Come > Wrong Treats > Feel So Real
That's a good number for the Swervies...

Ice A Spot And A Dot On The Dog > Bodysbad > Bellyeye > The Breakfast Line > Come Back Clammy Lammy > Horsehead
Oh by Spratleys Japs wins that one!
I mean, those are all brilliant songs, but
Clammy Lammy would be much higher in mine fwiw
Go on, I'll bite. Radiohead.
Reckoner > Just > In Limbo > Give Up The Ghost > Amnesiac/Morning Bell > We Suck Young Blood > Fitter Happier > Ripcord
Seven ain't their finest number.
We Suck Young Blood is, like, in the top three best tracks on HTTT.
I fucking love that song

4st 7lb > Facing Page: Top Left > Roses In The Hospital > Little Baby Nothing > I'm Not Working > The Girl Who Wanted To Be God > Wattsville Blues > Golden Platitudes > Emily > Autumnsong
Wow, amazingly weak.
I like Golden Platitudes and Emily
In any case Wattsville Blues should absolutely be last in that list

I've only listened to about 4 of their albums
Animal Collective
New Town Burnout > La Rapet > Guys Eyes > Too Soon > Daffy Duck > Winter Wonderland > Visiting Friends > Bad Crumbs
Curiously one of their lesser records throws up their best #7 track (though the competition is not that strong admittedly).
The Smiths
Still I'll > Nowhere Fast > The Boy With The Thorn in His Side >> Unhappy Birthday

Cowboy Dan is so good live
Oh fuck, I know.
They tear it the fuck up perfectly.
