Aerosmith are the most overrated band of all time
Dream On's neat, but that's about it really. They're annoying on the ears.

Nope
radiohead
the who
red hot chilli peppers
the smiths
No, the bands you just named are actually good
and have an impressive legacy.
Well okay, might be a stretch saying RHCP have an impressive legacy
But they're certainly better than Aerosmith.
Agreed
not sure about the "of all time"...
but yeah, of course they suck. just look at 'em. their singer has always been a charity shop jagger, right down to the sexist song content. When did you just find this out?
I thought they were shit (and still do, really)
but live, they're absolutely fantastic.
saw them...
... last year. they were pants. endless bar room rock noodling. awful. Tyler does have his charm, tho whether that just stems from the fact he's fucking nuts or not i don't know.
Dream On is a massive tune.
My teenage self
bought Dude Looks Like a Lady (insert confusing brackets yourselves, I can't remember where they go) and that tune is ace. Lyrics might be a bit dodgy, on reflection. And obviously the Run DMC song has a certain amount of historical significance...
But yeah a band it is easy to forget ever existed.
Somebody actually rates Aerosmith?
With the exception of Liv Tyler, their output has always been pretty awful hasn't it?
Nothing to make fun of really, it's like saying Nickelback are overrated.
Don't Want to Miss A Thing is amazing and to deny that is lunacy.
ghastly, mawkish, blue-rinse bothering, flappy-lipped poo.
naah not buying it
they're awesome
DiS doesn't really do classic rock of this ilk I'm afraid
but that song doesn't even fall into the bracket of classic rock
It's more like some American Idol type shit with a guitar solo.
You're right, it doesn't...
...it's nasty. Comment was really meant to suggest that Aerosmith on the whole aren't DiS-friendly. That particular song isn't anybody-friendly.
The fuck is wrong with you?
That song is bloody awful. It's only useful if you want to make a semi-watchable edit of Armageddon: when that song plays, cut the scene.

Also,
if I remember correctly, that track wasn't written by Aerosmith, but by the same person who wrote My Heart Will Go. Unnacceptable.
Alongside Creedence Clearwater Revival
They are America's greatest ever Rock n Roll Band for Me
Rocks, Toys In The Attic, Draw The Line are great albums. Permanent Vacation and Pump were both excellent too. Superb live band.
They have a ton of great tunes.
ZZ Top are 10x better than the 'smith
Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaa
good one.
Im serious
better, cooler, and they don't do shit like "dont wanna miss a thing'.
you're a funny guy.
Aerosmith didn't write don't wanna miss a thing either.
this is not a joke
look at this guppy-faced posuer

Would you catch Dave Beard or Dusty in that outift? like fuck.
That man is in his 60's
I bet you don't even look that good now.
wrong pal
my whole body hangs off these cheekbones though
ZZ Top are a dam find band and have written some great stuff but...
Sweet Emotion, Toys In The Attic, Draw The Line< Lick & A Promise, Chip Away The Stone, Same Old Song & Dance, Rag Doll, Simoriah, Walk This Way, Mama Kin, Back In The Saddle, Kings & Queens, Rats In The Cellar, Sick As A Dog, Round & Round are all as good or better than ZZ Top's best work (La Grange, Legs, Cheap Sunglasses, Tush, Gimme All Your Lovin', Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, Just Got Paid) in my opinion.
Anybody who dislikes ZZ Top simply dislikes life.
pincushion is better than any aerosmith song
It clearly isn't, but you're entitled to your opinion.
sweet emotion is OK
but thats as far as I'll go.
I mean they might even have some great songs, but why waste my time investigating them when life isn't even long enough to look back into the REAL good guys, let alone keep up with all this new stuff.
Aint worth it
I don't know a single person who likes Aerosmith
I'd say if anything they're possibly underrated. Or I would if they weren't complete shit.
You must only know silly people
strange, that
most of the single people I know are really into their cheesy classic rock. I wonder if there's a correlation?
You need to listen to the album Toys In The Attic
Classic rock and roll record. Or most of their 70s stuff to be honest. And a lot of the 80s stuff is great too if a little commercial and cheesy. Even some of the 90s stuff is ok.
In conclusion: no.
^This. Just avoid everything from the last fifteen years...

Aerosmith are rated??
it's objectively radiohead
or the beatles
objectively you say.
hmm.
definitely the beatles
Everything they did on drugs (read 70s)
= awesome
Everything they did sober (read 80s onward) = pure horseshit

QED
The 70's stuff is pretty damn great.
Especially Toys in the Attic and Rocks. Great classic rock records.
A very different band to the 'Don't wanna miss a thing' hit makers.
Aerosmith trivia....They made more money from Guitar Hero games than they did from any album.
Rocks and Toys in the Attic
are stone cold classics to my ears.
yeah
people are just rating the wrong bit of Aerosmith.
Janie's got a gun
Don't worry
I don't rate them.
Your loss
Click on my concert link above.
When I was a kid, with all due respect to Bob Segar etc, there were 3 great blue-based American rock 'n roll bands. Led Zep, Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. (Two that happened to be British, wtf)
Click on the link. Aerosmtih were fantastic and awesome and completely fucked up, like rock 'n roll stars ought to be.
nnnGOIN DOWWWWWWWN
Big Ones is an amazing comp
I love some of those late 80's / early 90's tracks. Cryin', The Other Side, Crazy, Living on the Edge, etc - all classics. Tyler's also a phenomenal vocalist. Don't understand how anyone couldn't like Aerosmith tbh, they're an awesome band.
Glad to see we all agree on this one
shut it down Theo
