I always think of Shoplifters' as more of a repeated refrain
rather than a proper solo. But I suppose people's definitions differ.
I may well have misused the word 'refrain'
but you get what I mean.
yeah, that and Shoplifters are the only real solos
and are possibly the least inspired pieces of guitar playing in their entire back catalogue
i think the shoplifters adds well to that song, but concede it might not be a solo

May I venture
Barbarism Begins at Home? The song seems to have been written purely for Marr & Rourke to wank themselves to death. There's a live bootleg (Paris in about 1985 I think) on which Morrissey says "Johnny wants to play Barbarism Begins at Home again" without even trying to hide the withering disdain in his voice.
