just heard that Best o' Friends track by Palma Violets for the first time...
wow.
excellent.
you'd have to be pretty fucking uptight and boring to not be able to admit it's a great song, tbh.

stop threatening me
I give this song: 6.5/10
TUNE TUNE TUNE
TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!!!
Wake up, sheeple.
Aye, not bad
Is this something that everyone on here dislikes?
I'm behind the times about what's cool to hate. I like it - make of that what you will
just listened
sounds like something they'd have played at 5th ave when i was 17.
Great, isn't it?
It is an excellent song, but only in comparison to recent mainstream indie.
Pisses all over The Vaccines et. al, but there's nothing at all transcendent about it.
amazing that the words mainstream and indie can actually go together
this was nme's top track, wasn't it? yeah it's a bit standard, innit?
I wanted to like it, but it's allllirght and nothing more
however the band themselves seem quite decent, like the Vaccines if they had charisma/actually finished writing their songs.
good chorus but the rest is a little dull
probably be better if they played it faster
i did like them on Jools, however:

Aw what - they've got a keyboard player?
I'm out.
Yeah it is pretty good
But in my world a band needs a good album to get my attention. Otherwise they're nothing. NOTHING
Sounds like one of the better songs
on an old Cribs record.
Cheers.
My girlfriend's housemate's ex-boyfriend (but still friend) is the lead singer of this band I think. She was very upset when we chose to go and see ...Trail of Dead instead of them in York a few weeks ago.
That's all I have to say on the matter. Sorry it wasn't very interesting.
Saw them at the Deaf Institute and thought it was pretty dull.
Thanks for listening.
Deaf Institute in dull gig shocker.
I always console myself by thinking at least it's not the Ruby Lounge.
Liars, POBPAH and Mount Eerie all let down by that venue and it's tendency to leer in the extreme between OI OI lad brigade levels of rowdiness and funeral sombreness.
Really?
Whoever said it sounds like a Paddingtons b-side was closest to the truth
