You know - The first track off their self titled album.
Can anyone recommend me some similar stuff to the slow droney/doomy bit? [i.e. most of it]
I'm not necessarily talking about super slow doom like Sunn, just pretty slow, low tuning, distortion, slow drums etc.
My knowledge is ridiculously vague in this area.

Right, assuming you've never listened to any doom beyond Sabbath's early stuff:
Sleep: Holy Mountain is basically Sabbath worship. 'Dragonaut' is totally huge a doom anthem.
Electric Wizard: I'd suggest going with Come My Fanatics... and Dopethrone. Pretty excellent and more Sabbath worship. Witchcult Today is a more recent record, which is pretty good, and I'd think of that as being a bit more 'accessible'.
Saint Vitus: Probably Born Too Late, which is their first record with Wino on vocals, and he's a real hero.
Burning Witch: Crippled Lucifer is a compilation of Burning Witch's first two EPs or something, and it's so good. Absolutely laden with doom and misery and evil vibes. It was a previous project of Stephen O'Malley's, before he did Sunn or Khanate.
Goatsnake: is Greg Anderson from Sunn's previous band (I think they're back together now, though). Beat the fuck out of the Trampled Under Hoof EP and Flower of Disease LP. Yes!
