Saw them play twice in 1998 / 1999.
I remember me & some friends were outside the Astoria before they were playing supporting Fear Factory. The band walked by and we wanted to get something signed but all we had was 10 B&H, so the singer (Jonny?) signed it.
Must have been streaming a pre-release version or something, because every minute or so, some guy would say over the top, 'Self-Destructive Pattern: the new album from SPINESHANK'.
He sounded like the movie trailer guy: 'In a world where bands like Spineshank continue to sell records, one man refused to listen and told his co-worker he thought they were crap'.

loved what i think was their second album
i remember seeing them at the Astoria supported by Sikth on 7th Sep 2001, they were good. i stopped paying attention after that, apprently.
That first Sikth album was the absolute bomb.
