yeah, I'm jealous
you coming then?
95% yes
grow some balls and add
5% on to that.
Its sort of out of my hands
ish.
I'm glad ATP have started having the curator as the last band of the curator, like the old Camber days.
last band of the weekend
even
Did I read somewhere that the National are doing 2 sets?
If someone wants to sell me a cheap ticket for this
It would be really really great.
I'm pleased that nothing I've been looking forward to clashes.
Surprised to only see The National down once, as above, I thought I'd heard they were playing twice.
P.S. SO EXCITED
Bryce Dessner said they were doing 2 sets...
on this very site.
http://drownedinsound.com/in_depth/4144397-dis-meets-bryce-dessner-of-the-long-count-amp-the-national
This was before the move to Camber Sands though, which presumably changed stuff.
Wish they were playing more
But a two-hour closing set will be pretty great. I imagine all of the band bar Matt will crop up in other people's performances over the weekend - Bryce is already down for a fair few, and I'm sure Aaron will play with Sharon Van Etten and maybe Local Natives.
there will be a LOT of guest spots across the weekend, yes.
we would have had to have 2 headline sets at minehead so that the whole capacity could see them, whereas at camber everyone can see them in one big finale performance.
everyone can definitely fit in room 1 then?
i'm sure i remember having to choose a shellac performance at the first shellac atp and getting a wristband for it, and only being guaranteed entry for that show due to capacity issues, although if you waited long enough you'd probably get into the one(/s?) you didn't have a wristband for too.
there are no bands playing this weekend i don't want to see, but i love the national more than any of them, and am less arsed about local natives than most of them.
dj times added now
with timecards to dl for phones etc http://t.co/fLeLfSIv
I JUST GETTING EXCITED
GET EXCITED WITH ME
just played the national's back catalogue start to finish <3
bet i get overexcited and drink/do too much early on and crash at the back of the room just after the national go on and come to just before the end of their set...
Chalet question
I booked a five-berth on the deposit scheme for when it was still at Minehead - which was room only, no kitchen. Now that it's moved to Camber, am I right in thinking that all the chalets have kitchens in? The diagrams on the Pontins site seem to suggest as much. Thanks!
yis they do
well i say "kitchen"...
it might just be a shelf with a microwave on it next to a sink near a fridge
