don't bite my head off, but...
i've been listening to the last Editors album quite a bit recently, and it's...alright.
I'm not a fan of the band. Liked a couple of their early singles, but quickly lost interest.
Investigated this when it came out, gave it a few listens, hated it. S'alright, though, really.

It's good that you've found some enjoyment in it.
I'm happy for you. All the best.
They're kind of a guilty pleasure for me
but I enjoy em. Think this 2nd album has some great lyrics and is an enjoyable in a harmless trying to mainstream Joy Division darkness kind of way. I kind of like the 3rd one too. I think it's a lot less commercial and more experimental to a degree.
Never liked them much either
But the opening track of that album is great

And Tom Smith's cover of 'Bonny' by Prefab Sprout

are both terrific. Particularly the latter.
Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool is a really good song
Can't really remember any of the rest of the album.
always been a great live band and a good band on record
underrated
IMO, is their best album
Bricks and Mortar, Papillon, You Don't Know Love, Like Treasure, Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool, are all excellent songs.
TBH I like Editors more than Interpol.
Interpol are difficult listen for me (esp. because of voice + those guitars).
Cannot for the life of me understand the hate towards the first two records.
Not a huge fan of the third but Papillon is one of their best tracks. And it's far from being a bad record. Simply an experiment that didn't truly catch fire. But I'll always respect a band trying something different. Oh, and their Manchester Academy show around the time of release was absolutely astonishing!
always liked 'blood'
that's about it though
Only 'Blood'? 'Munich' not?
I think they're ok
First two albums have some good bits on, not sure about the rest as I haven't really heard it.
Not worth getting into a spunky lather over, but certainly not the morst snubworthy thing either.
the B sides of that album are even better
think there was a second disc at some point, all proper blade runner belters
I loved their first two albums.
Never really got into the third. Their Glastonbury set just before the release of their second album remains in my top 10 festival moments for me, I freakin' loved it.
Papillon is a stonker of a tune.
Loved The Back Room too. Not a duff track on it for Me. Didn't like the 2nd album much.
And I agree, a fine live band.
