Needy post I know.
I've tried to get you English milquetoasts into Puzza Kelly before but here goes again:

PK, even better than the Go-Betweens.
guy must have written 100 great songs, no joke.
I have only just heard of him though and I have been listening to The Go-Betweens solidly for months.
love the Gobes too but he's written many, many great songs.
I used to be into PK back in the late-80s/early-90s, but I have to admit he doesn't really do much for me any more. Still ^this track is brilliant.
The first song was okay.

I'd take all of those over Every Fucking City, but YMMV.
largely because I find singer-songwriters accompanied by little else than an acoustic guitar dead fucking boring (that includes Dylan and all the other untouchables).
To Her Door, Dumb Things, Before Too Long, etc. are all great, but whenever he drops the backing band I start to fall asleep. Every Fucking City is the exception, because it's humorous.
Oh, and I fucking despise Careless, but, as you say, YMMV.
i saw shortcuts the other day, so i know what's going to happen in the song
does that mean I have sell all my CDs, stopping going to gigs and festivals then ?
start by throwing out all your Kasabian and Razorlight first though
I think I've heard this all before.....
It came out in the 80s... ;-)
