Appleseed Cast: Low Level Owl Volume 2
I think if I could have been a part of one album, in the whole world, it would be this.
It holds up so well. It shames so many that have come after. Rooms and Gardens still gives me shivers.

I usually kind of lump those two together.
I actually think Mare Vitalis is their best overall record though.

I don't think it's their best, but I think it's very good.
Fight Song is probably my favourite Appleseed Cast song, but I think I prefer the more experimental stuff on Low Level Owl and Mare Vitalis overall.
I gave up on them after Peregrine, as I wasn't really a fan of that.

LLO is very different to those two. Far more ambient.
Mare Vitalis is a good mid point between the two you have. But really, best listen to all of it.

this is the season for Appleseed Cast! threw on LLO 1 and 2 the other afternoon...fitted perfectly with the bright coldness outside.
Mare Vitalis is their best collection of songs imo, but the LLO records are something different altogether...such a statement. Long live that band. when was the last time they played over here?
I saw them at the Camden Underworld a few years ago
and I remember it being during a world cup, so i'm going to say it was 2006. Jeniferever played, it was crackin.
Pretty much in my top 3 bands
Almost all their albums are incredible. Really excited for the follow up to Middle States. I do love Mare Vitalis a little more than the others though.
