How did "The Sound" manage to pass me by all theses years?
Thanks to a thread on this very site I have discovered (for myself) The Sound. What a great band. How did I not know about them. I'm no musical genius, but surely I should have already heard them. That's my listening sorted for a while. Thanks to the original poster suggesting a track of theirs in the "songs you genuinely think are perfect" thread.

Don't think so.
That's a different band. That is "The Sounds" as opposed to "The Sound". I don't know that much about either band but The Sound sound very good indeed.

the sound are magnificent. i'm astounded by the minimal rawness on jeopardy. it's truly impressive how so little can become so frenzied.

Yeah, the Sound are great
Went through a phase a year or two ago buying everything by them. I love Jeopardy, From The Lion's Mouth and the Shock of Daylight mini-album. It's weird they're not given the same kudos as the Bunnymen or the Teardrops.
I'm really enjoying "The Lion's Mouth".
Where should I head next? Logic tells me the debut album?
