I've never listened to 'Maxinquaye'
is it any good?
Yes.
This will be great.
listened to it recently, after maybe 5 years
sounds VERY dated. just an observation, guys.
Is that it?
I can't see if you can just get a ticket to this or whether it's the whole festival. I would love to see this. Never got to see him before.
You can buy tickets just for his gig
The website doesn't list the Tricky gig yet though

I really rather hope it's not going to be £35 though...
On sale Thursday

I can't go, so in readiness
I don't want a near perfect album tainted in any way by a subpar performance, bad sound or terrible crowd so I'm pleased not to go.
Fox and grapes.
I have a
bootleg of a Pre-Millenium Tension show and it's really good, very energetic and the live interpretaion of the songs don't tarnish the originals as well, would love to go to this.
I saw
Tricky on the pre-mt tour. He played in the pitch black. A good chunk of the audience didn't realise he had actually started the set, as the music pre-gig was same level as the actual gig. It was a miserable experience.
Saw that tour too
It was very dark and bleak, but that was the tone of that album and it was kind of apt to alienate the audience.
Anyhow, I saw him at the Breeders ATP and it was thrilling.
Bootleg of a Pre-Millenium Tension show
Hi! It's possible to upload this bootleg?
Cheers from France
I wonder if
Beyonce will turn up at one of the shows as a surprise special guest, like Tricky did with her at Glastonbury. Or was that a dream?
Saw him at The Arches a couple of years ago.
Him: still got it.
Venue: good for club nights only, and no band should ever play a gig there again.
I saw him in the Victoria Rooms in Bristol in the mid/late 90s.
It was really good.
