Has anyone ever bought vinyl from shockhound.com?
I’ve wasted my entire day browsing the web in search of a decent site for cheap vinyl, and I came across http://www.shockhound.com/ which beats the crap out of others I looked at.
Mysteriously, though, it gives no indication of shipping fees, simply saying they can’t guarantee there won’t be extra customs charges etc. It all seems legit, they’ve got a wiki and everything, I’d just like some reassurance so I don’t discover there’s a £20 charge once I’ve committed to buy.

It's not cheap.
Especially when the international shipping is added,as it's an American site.
What sort of music are you looking for?
Mostly indie/rap stuff.
A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Cass McCombs, Madvillain, Mos Def, Neutral Milk Hotel, Scott Walker and Spoon are all on the list.
Where would you recommend? I’ve looked on Amazon and eBay as well as Discogs, Boomkat and similar sites, Shockhound seems the cheapest of those for what I’m after, but that’s if the p+p charges are reasonable.
I think Norman records are one of the cheapest

I sell on discogs and charge £5.50 for the first vinyl and £2 for each additional one to America. Worth checking though as they might have really cheap shipping. They will tell you the shipping charge before taking your money.
You can usually find good deals on discogs. Good luck;)

to Norman Records.
Great
Looks like this is the kind of site I was looking for. Cheers.
