pretty nice, huh? i love how totally blissed out they get at times, and then ira will mutilate his gtr for ten minutes straight. good times.
also, if the people behind me who decided to talk through a large portion of the set and also shout for the girls playing the strings to come back on: i hope you die. THANKS.
but yo la tengo, huh? HUH? good stuff.

Great gig. I did really like the strings though - and not just cos they were the hott.

New songs sounded excellent live. I enjoyed Ira's minor faux pas re the string players "Thanks to them for playing those arrangements. Sorry, I don't know who you are..."

I thought the half hour freakout before the encore was a bit too much. Didn't care for the strings at all.
Acoustic tom courtenay was amazing though.

Went to the gig in the abc Glasgow.
Thinking they'd be on at 9ish due to the fucking abc being a club so needing to get gigs over and done with sharpish myself and the gf got there just after 9 to find out that they had been for a fucking HOUR already :(
I did really enjoy the last hour, first time i've seen them.
In summary the abc fucking sucks!
There were so many people talking near the back.
I was royally cheesed off. The instrumental Tom Courtenay was beautiful for me despite this, thankfully.
abc glasgow gig
Got there for the early start but was scalped at the door for 18 quid - unscrupluous promoter (PCL) added a whopping 4 quid to the on-the-door price after removing tix from the venue box office a few days before the show. Suck-a-rama.
