Does anyone still listen to 'Spazzcore'?
Aweful name, but there used to be quite a bit of the whole quirky/manic/thrashy-type hardcore around a while ago, but now (as far as I'm aware) there's not that much good stuff in the UK, other than Rolo Tomassi. What happened to Trencher? Are there any good bands to check out?

do you mean
stuff like early daughters/the number twelve looks like you etc
daughters
are fucking amazing. They best hurry up and get back over here.
^ this
They were amazing when I saw them supporting the Fall Of Troy.
oh man
Saw them on the london leg of that tour, then went to see them in brighton (headline show) a few days later. That brighton show, fuck me, that was AMAZING.
Or stuff like
The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg and andtheywillriot?
a massive ^this to both of those bands
also, whilst they're a little more straight forward metalcore than a lot of the bands mentioned Throats might worth a shout.
would She Bit Me Right Here be a good name for a spazzcore band?
I gave up on Rolo Tomassi completely due to the album being weak
But The Number 12 are still churning out some great albums. But yeah, I have no real idea of anything in the UK of a similar nature other than Throats, who at times can come across as a bit derivative.
according to this thread I like this genre
but had absolutely no idea what it was before entering.
I still listen to And We Washed Our Weapons In the Sea every few weeks
holy roar have just put out a split
with a couple of sassy bands.
i think most people jumped shit and started listening to crust or noise.
