Suggestions: computer interfaces for recording rock
Any suggestions for a USB 2.0-based interface for recording guitar, vocals, bass. Needs to be able to handle noise, distortion etc.... and hopefully not be much over £100.
Have tried the M-Audio Fast Track interface and it seems OK, but have heard bad reviews elsewhere. Anybody got any suggestions?

For the money you would be hard pushed to beat the emu 1212m.

It is a pci card based interface, which you may or may not like. It has very high quality analogue/digital convertors for the price. I have been using mine for a year with no problems. M Audio is okay, but they are a budget brand. You may also want to check 2nd hand, you could get a higher quality brand like digidesign for that money.
