OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE
Misread as Papa Roach
and got excited. Oh well.
Can we expect the MBV line-up
to be completed soon?
sweet! that make the yeah yeah yeahs performance about 3 times more worthwhile!
:(
Good news on the Papa M
though I'd be even more excited if he was playing Whatever Mortal. At least it means he'll play for more than half an hour, unlike every other time I've seen him.
This is great news!
Can forsee a mass exit in YYY's after the finish Fever TO Tell though! Battlecat - I would have loved Whatever, Mortal too, just for Krusty, but it will still be great, really excited. Roll on December!
I own all the Aerial M/ Papa M stuff..
...apart from 'Live From A Shark Cage'. Is it closer to the folky stylings of Whatever, Mortal or the meandering slocore of Hole of Burning Alms?
Is he playing live from a shark cage?!
Fuck's sake.
It's ace, really good. I haven't heard those other two, so can't really compare. No singing, has all these little melodies that get stuck in your head and float around making you want to go and put the album on.
I saw it first time around kids
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Well, yeah, so did I
But it would still be heaps of fun.
who were these kids you were with? Sounds a little bit suspect...
You don't know the half of it...
HOLY SHIT
are you going to ten years?
B-B-B-BIG TIME
i probably knew this, but that's grand news!
OMGOMG
can't wait.
Can we have
Dirty Three and Josh T Pearson play the songs of Lift To Experience please. In my head this works and blows minds.
Great news on these sets too!
I would be disappointed this
isn't happening at the other weekend but YYYs playing the older stuff on tour earlier this year sounded really flat & all round not that great.
Plus hopefully No Age is doing the Husker Du set with Bob Mould at the MBV one.
Can we please have no acts announcing their setlists in advance
for any of the MBV / Pavement weekends please?
I love this guy
He always manages to find something to whinge about. Legend.
10 Years Of A T P = yes yes yes, 10 Years Of Yeah Yeah Yeah = NO NO NO
they are such a pile of shit Jamie
next
You shouldn't allow MBV to procure anything till they drop that fucking album!
:D Fever To Tell is such an incredible debut album
cant waiiit¬!
This is exceptional news. Exceptional.
I love Fever to Tell, bit meh on the rest.
Think I prefer Shark's Cage at the moment to Whatever, Mortal so this is just absolutely mint. Plus it means he'll be playing for a decent amount of time.
