Muse shows
new tour started last night in sheffield
holy shit what a show. the stage is spectacular - justifies the expensive ticket price
decent setlist too, good mix of old and new. the plug in baby, time is running out, unnatural selection combo was awesome

muse have died???
i heard they died like morrisey in a unusual cow attack on the motorway as 10 stray cows were hid in their car when they set off and then ate all members of the band. is this true irrikky?? i also heard that you are secretly Matt Bellamy's lover, true or false?? thankyou for your time xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
the fuck?
Pretty sure this isn't true..
who's supporting?
haven't seen muse for years...
The Big Pink
They managed to be not totally lost on such a big stage, quite enjoyed them really
^best post on the music board in ages I reckon
I'm off to Birmingham on Tuesday
Can't wait!
Bit disappointed in the setlists for the tour, though. They seem really short for such big shows, really. There's so much stuff missing... Bliss, Butterflies & Hurricanes, Take A Bow, etc.
There's not much variation in setlists either, but that I can kinda understand; I guess for such a massive production, every song is locked in to some part of it, so it's probably not easy to change around.
:@
Muse's current stage show involves three giant towers which rise and fall during the show, and are covered with images of bodies floating through space, thereby illustrating 'The Resistance''s over-arching theme of humanity fleeing earth for a new home.
So what you're saying then....
... is that they're a bunch of twats?
Don't take it so seriously
it looks fucking excellent and is a hell of a lot of fun
I bought tickets for this and ended up not going
My housemate went, but I just couldn't justify the hassle of getting from work, to newcastle, to sheffield and back, especially when there are no late night trains. That and I kept imagining myself in a crowd full of kids watching a band I once loved performing United States of Eurasia or Undisclosed Desires.
Maybe another time.
I can hear Steve Albini grinding his teeth from here.
once you see one muse show
you've seen them all really.
That's simply not true
Having seen them 6 times, every show has been different. I haven't seen the same setlist twice.
Muse Last Night In Liverpool
16th time i've seen them......my my my my my. i can a slating for being 'pro muse' but they were fucking incredible last night. lightning bolt riffs/deftones riffs everywhere. amazing show. 10/10. best live act around by a country mile - fact.
Did they play a bit of Heartbreaker too?
And that drum and bass solo?
Those were my 2 highlights
incredible
they did the drum and bass breakdown, they also played headup by the deftones, riffs everywhere. best live band around pound for pound.
What were Muse doing at school?
