I like the new Weezer album
Someone needed to say it to add a bit of balance. "Love Is The Answer" is a dreadful track like everyone says, but otherwise I think it's the best thing they've done in years.
I'm ready for this to be followed by a torrent of posts from people saying they don't like it, but would at least be interested to see whether there's a few people that do...

Weezer
one question
what is your favourite weezer album? May seem like an obvious question but the answer does tell quite a lot about what someone finds acceptable modern Weezer. I've wanted to believe some good too but I've not heard anything off it yet.
Like many people
I believe that their first two albums are their best, but I do still like a lot of what's gone since. I certainly don't subscribe to the belief that they should make another Pinkerton or quit.
IMO
Green and Pinkerton
first two albums are gold
maladroit is acceptable. the others suck balls bar a few songs
I dunno how you can say that about Green
Seriously, what is people's problem with that record?! Obviously it's not as perfect as Blue or Pinkerton but there really isn't a bad track on there.
It's good to hear someone who likes Raditude. I haven't heard it all the way through yet (I'm waiting til I get my deluxe CD/snuggie package) but from what I have heard it doesn't sound like they've moved on much from the last album. I didn't hate red as much as most people so I'm sure I'll be sticking up for this one in the weeks/months/years to come.
you FUCKWIT
it's bad.
I may give it a try
considering it's on amazon USA for only $4...
I haven't heard the whole of the new record yet
But 'Can't Stop Partying' is a hell of an earwig in my opinion. That chorus is a bigger hook than anything they've done since Maladroit. I'm faintly ashamed to say I really like that track!
some great clips of the new stuff

Oh no! Blasphemer!
Isn't it quite odd that nowadays, when someone disagrees with the critical majority, it's presented as though they've just entered a confession booth.
"Forgive me father...for I have sinned. I actually enjoy an album of simple pop songs..."
"Is it the new Weezer album, my son?"
"Yes."
"You idiot! Bow and repent to the god of internet opinion! Everybody knows that they've been shit since at least the Green album!"
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me..."
Bloody hell! It's got sliiiightly out of hand all this internet agreement hasn't it? If you like it, enjoy it. That's really all there is to it!
I enjoy Raditude immensely personally. Weezer has always been a good band since I first heard them in sweater song.
I'm pretty happy that the marketing company I work for started a campaign for Raditude for campuses recently. People head to a facebook site (here: http://youcastcorp.com/c/82/go/index.php?r=0 ) and vote for their favorite campus and Weezer plays at the most voted on campus.
I'm voting for my college personally as it would be cool to see them live. I saw them on Letterman recently with their Weezer Snuggies and it looked like they know how to do a good live performance!
I'm with you cause I like your level of english. Pm me to remind me to vote
I'm Your Daddy is well good!
