Bring back the White Room!
Now THAT was a decent music programme. Used to be the highlight of the week for a youg TheWza, in his early teens.

I've got loads on VHS that, as far as I can see, aren't uploaded by anyone. That's a weekend project that needs to be done one day for sure.
My point being that, as the Jools thread has shown, there really aren't any decent music shows about, are there? Jools has a few decent acts on, but the whole thing has become so pedestrian (not that it was ever really full of zing). Or is there something out there that I don't know about?
Trawling youtube for bits and bobs is all well and good, but there's surely some space in the schedules for a /decent/ live music programme? What channel would be best at it? Who would present it?
Sunday nights would be ace, to round off the weekend. What would the acts be if it were starting this week?
[Yeah, I've posted these sentiments before, but it deserves it's own thread.]

Have you seen the Best / Worst article in the Word magazine
this month ? Snub TV was mentioned, now that was a quality indie programme.
I spent a couple of hours
Checking Snub TV and related links after reading the Word article.
There hasn't been a good music programme, since Cheggers Plays Pop.
Problem is
the BBC won't launch one as they've got Jools, and Channel 4 won't launch one without a lifestyle branded sponsor, which is why Transmission With T-Mobile gradually shrugged off anyone who might not sell records.
white room was aces...
a new show wouldnt have to cost too much to make. i dont think. it would be quite easy.
