Primavera Sound 10th Anniversary

Looks like you will be able to vote for your favourite artists that have played the festival for next years event.

From their website:

The tenth edition of Primavera Sound is gathering momentum, and this year we have decided to take the usual participation of the festival’s public through our forum, one step further. To this end we have created a questionnaire in which all the registered users of our forum can vote for their favourite concert in the history of Primavera Sound. We have chosen a limited number from each year.

To participate in the survey all you have to do is be registered on the forum of our web (http://www.primaverasound.com/foros/) and fill out the questionnaire which is at the following address http://encuesta.primaverasound.com.

The process is simple: Choose the years you have been to the festival, and once you have done this chose five artists from each edition, except in 2001 in which there are only two options. From this first stage we will get 50 artists, from which 25 will be chosen in the second stage. From these 25 acts we will ask the public to chose who should play at Primavera Sound 2010.

We will do everything possible to bring the artists who are chosen in this survey to our tenth anniversary, we think that it is a nice way to celebrate ten years of something which has become for many people (including ourselves) an unmissable musical event.

        the website is ridiculously bad! I previously found that date on there but can't now. Just banging on about the dual tickets for Prima and the christmas thing. No real panic though, it doesn't usually sell out superfast. I could do with not getting bummed to death by Seetickets though.

        Never been before, but google earth makes it look like you see into the festival from the rooftop pool (well, nearly). Called hotel diagonal zero. Looks amazing. KInd of need a place right by the site as my girlf will be going to bed way before me, and don't want to spend the entire weekend travelling back and forth across the city making sure she is okay.         This year the band sweepstake for Primavera Sound 2010 will be official.
        Each contestant must try to guess 20 bands that will play the next edition of the festival. The one with more correct answers before the first official confirmations will be the winner. If there´s a tie the winner will the the first one that sent the post. If there´s an official leak from any band or management that band would be eliminated from the sweepstake. If someone guessed that band before the leak it would be correct.
        
        Prize:
        Double room at the organization hotel and lunch and dinner for two people on the artists catering during the whole festival (thursday, friday and saturday).
        
        We´ll contact the winner through a private message.

for the earlybird tickets usually? I'm a bit skint so don't really fancy booking it just because they've announced one band (who might end up being totally shit) and might not confirm any others for months. Sob.
