is it even worth turning up after 7? or will there already be a massive queue?
they are playing right?
I'm ill and hate the Klaxons though, so I won't be there.
It's not been deliberately shouted from the rooftops.
Don't really fancy queueing for ages, going to pop down there about 7/7.30 and see what the queues like. They're doing another "secret" show next week supposedly, announcing it at the end of the week,
inability to move inside
massive queues for the ONE ladies toilet
don't let the klaxons chase you out of your house, man
That's cutting mate, you should try writing for Mock the Week.
am I the only person who likes mock the week?
I would like to see the klaxons but I have heard nothing but bad about them live.
are they not releasing a new album soon too?
I'll send a big bag of material off.
are only worth seeing when they do their live stunt where that guy who's playing the bass does an impersonation of...what's his name... woody allen. that's quite good. otherwise they're quite poor live.
is a fucking legend.
... did anyone go? Any good?
IT's all about the support comaechi (spelling?) are brilliant!
The Klaxons are lame live
not enough talent
I gave them so many chances, I saw them in so many different sized venues, but they just seemed to get worse.
Their "performance" at Glastonbury 07 was an embarassment. So fucked they couldn't play their instruments. How rock n droll
their gig at the luminaire was one of the best i've ever been to
It was like being an undercover cop in a Skins episode.
not quite as good as when i saw em play oxegen 2 years ago, but that was mostly down to the crowd being full of "cool" twats standing like statues taking photos. New songs seemed good, hard to tell for certain on 1st listen tho.
Their fashion seems to have gone from day-glo to transvestite, not sure it will catch on...
new direction or the same type of dance-indie ("new-rave")?
Meant I was first in the queue at 6:30. I have nothing better to do than read Private Eye in the freezing cold on Soho street corners, waiting for an equally aged mate to mooch up at 7:30 and stroll to the front.
Does anyone know if there are any photos on the net from the gig?
and felt slightly guilty at just waltzing in. Next time, I'll bring you a cuppa.
I enjoyed the support more.
