Be Here Now
I think that over time, critics will be kinder to Be Here Now.
They all jizzed over it initially. I'm pretty sure the NME did, and I know Q did.
Then everyone thought 'Oh shit, Oasis are supposed to be poor young lads with aspirations of stardom. This record shows they've got there and are celebrating it, and that's not romantic at all.'
In my experience, I've found that its still well-loved by many. Journalists and Pitchfork people hate it, but they hate Oasis anyway.
Just you wait. When they finally call it a day, it won't be treated half as badly.
