Hokaben festival - London
Just seen this on Facebook:
Hokaben is a new music festival in the heart of London's east end at the 93ft East venue, Brick Lane. The idea is to have a festival in our capital city bringing together the weirdest / heaviest / craziest / most awesome underground bands on the planet under one roof with not a foppish indie band or yawnsome postrock band in sight. It’s all happening over the weekend of 7th, 8th & 9th November – so make sure you put that in your diaries. There’s only 750 tickets so get buying NOW music fans.
The venue itself has 4 main areas – the main live room, a smaller live room, a more intimate bar and a large courtyard with benches for the smokers. It’s also smack-bang in Shoreditch so you have all the other restaurants and bars around there if you need a quiet pint and a break from the music. Take a look at the 93ft East website for more info on the venue.
