Right then, Rage Against the Machine
Now they're defo playing Reading & Leeds (as has been suspected for a while), it's definitely time to assert to all the naysayers out there that they are indeed A BLOODY BRILLIANT BAND ACTUALLY THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Sure, maybe other people got there first with the whole rap/rock fusion thing, and arguably they inspired one two many godawful nu-metal bands, but the point is is that they were passionate, powerful, and mightily righteous. Zack De La Rocha is an provocative and engaging frontman, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilks are one of the tightest and most badass rhythm sections of all time, and Tom Morello is simply one of the most innovative and inspiring rock guitarists ever, who wrote the greatest riffs since Jimmy Page and reinvented soloing after the fretboard wankery of the Eighties. All their albums are great, and I have no doubt they will phenomenal live.
Right, outburst over. Argue amongst youselves...
