Should bands/artists go back to making one album per year as standard?
I know with bands producing on average one album every two years is probably a good thing for musical development and can give you more time to work/analyse songs, however, this might be why Kaiser Cheifs and Hard Fi have had lukewarm comebacks and why Arctic Monkeys managed to make 2nd album look easy. Plus if you go back to one album per year, theres less time for a "next big thing" band to fill in the gap. Am I making any sense or is this all a load of shite?
