in London on May 29th. On sale tomorrow.
i love that band.
Do you know if they are touring or if it's a one-off?
I'd eat my young for that!
"Good. The albums done and set to be released in may. We have a long tour in europe starting in may. I'll put the dates up soon. We have plans to tour the states in the fall. Check out silverjews.net"
so that he could ruin it like he did the records he appeared on?
After Tanglewood Numbers it could easily be argued da-odda-way round, mate!
andrew bird, hopefully some other good ones
Tanglewood Numbers. Mate!
i assume not much atmosphere??
why more bands don't use the coronet i don't know...the EYOE animal collective show there was great.
silver jews will be a whole tour...manchester date should be announced soon
though £4 a pint
saw lucinda williams there and it was the
crispest perfect sound ever. its basically
shaped like a mini shepherd's bush empire.
I've just checked the EYOE site, and there's loads of great stuff coming up. RZA!
which seems to have been redesigned... maybe they closed for a bit or something? but anyway it basically says music is booked by either some hard house promoter or metropolis :-(
and near ATP. Though unlikely.
all the gigs are £12.50 too. God blee EYOE
t'was such a disappointment for me I played it only once or twice. OK, you win!
yesssssssssss, definitely there :D
Ticketweb's now saying they're not on sale until next Wednesday. The big teasers.
i bought tickets this morning...
Though it says it's their first UK gig, which is funny seeing as I saw them at ATP 4 years ago.
it was a half-stolen line from "Punks In The Beerlight" off the last Silver Jews album.
I think "Some Jingle Jangle Morning When I'm Straight" is the only MLL song I've heard. I'll check out "His Indie World" in a bit, though. I've just googled the lyrics.
If so, may I suggest some modifications to improve the flow?
"Tell me have you heard the news?/
Tickets for the Silver Jews!"
Have you heard the news? Adam & Eve were jews.
Rough three-stress lines are where it's at.
i can't decide which line is better:
'i dont fit into his indie world: guided by voices and velocity girl'
or from the wildhearts 29 x the pain:
'sitting in my room, with the replacements husker du!'
OOIOO, not Silver Jews
