More BPM in the north than the south...

Apparently, people living up north listen to music with many more beats per minute than those in the south, with Scotland averaging 190 and Cornwall 80! I'm not quite sure how they worked this out (unless it's based on average record sales), but it sounds quite ridiculous, and reasonably stereotypical! Whereabouts do you live, and do you generally listen to fast or slow music?! I wouldn't say I listen to much fast stuff.
