I might sell all my old CDs and buy vinyl instead.
Keep the good ones, sure. But I have a massive IKEA bag in the basement, full to the brim of CDs like Papa Roach and Taproot. I could list them all on eBay (in a gigantic display of effort), and never miss them for a second. I'd not make much from each, but it'd add up. I'm sure I could sell other gubbins as I go.
Then I could hunt down my favourite records on vinyl. They're so big and pretty. And it's just that, as my friend remarked, it's odd for such a big music fan to spend so much on CDs, and then listen to them on Argos' second-cheapest stereo. So this switch would also involve some nice speakers, etc.
Alternatively, maybe this is just a silly spur-of-the-moment idea. I could sell the rubbish CDs and buy a nice hi-fi to play the good CDs I have left. Then continue as normal.
Hmm, I don't know. Advise me?
