Favourite sixties soul act.
I'll go for The Supremes:
'Where Did Our Love Go'
'Baby Love'
'Stop! In The Name Of Love'
'You Can't Hurry Love' (if you can forget the way Phil Collins ruined it)
'Reflections'
'You Keep Me Hanging On'
Glorious

'Reach Out (I'll Be There)'
'If I Was A Carpenter'
'Standing In the Shadows of Love'
'Walk Away Renee'
'It's the Same Old Song'
and
'Bernadette' - awesome
I dunno, it's just Levi Stubbs' voice. He could articulate melancholy, anger and yearning from his vocal. Genius.

Actually, it's not easy to forget. I take that back. Those old Supremes songs IMO were the cream of this crop by far.
