25!
you know this idea of an industry cut off of 25 years old when they are signing bands and stuff - is that just nonsense? thinking of the last couple of years we have had
- franz ferdinand
- kieser chiefs
- the darkness
- the twang
- the long blondes
all signed to kind of big deals and all ( i think ) having an average band age of over 25 years old.
so is it just tosh or is there some truth in it - is it not just more likely that there are more 'young' bands because you don't have any commitments when you are super young so can afford more time to piss around playing the gitar and can go off on tour and not have to worry about losing your job that pays your mortgage?
or something
