So can I just get tickets on the door for this?
can't I just get them on the door?!?!
im thinking of trying my luck at koko for a bright eyes ticket if i cant get one earlier, then heading for this instead if i have no success.
i didnt do a question mark. :(.
and got tickets online. Only 7 left according to that sight, ooh.
theres probably more. somewhere.
whats the capacity of the windmill?
im sure that there wont be THAT many people interested in seeing their first uk dates
I am quite excited about this. I hope they're not shit.
theres always the amazing upcdownc and this town needs guns, i've sold my arcade fire ticket so i can go to this.
this town needs guns supporting?
if so, this gig will be good
you check out Furniture Sound they're local lads near me and quite frankly..awesome. www.myspace.com/furnituresound
Some of the members used to be in Cap'n Jazz and Owls. The lead singer is also in Joan Of Arc, who I think are better. Tim Kinsella is really worth getting in to.
I'm so excited about this gig, I'm sure they won't cancel this time round.
IS the last touring lineup of joan of arc, but playing songs theyve written as a collective, not just tim's stuff
I've not seen Joan Of Arc live and I really would like to, the live album is great.
So what do you think of the new Make Believe album? I think it is okay but a lot of the songs sound the same. Best thing they have done is the first EP.
just listened to the stuff on the myspace
the title track is good tho.
much prefer Shock Of Being and i spose the ep too
in my dreams, one day tim kinsella gets everyone from the extended JOA family together for a festival playing all the best tunes by all the bands. it would be a merry day
now someone says Saviours are playing a headline show somewhere in London this night too, CRAP
although i've never heard saviours, i'm going to say make believe are better.
they have two kinsellas. that must count for something.
that every bastard out there is desperate to play a gig in london next wednesday!
All the bands for this show deserve to be Headliners, its going to be a fantastic night!!
It was still very very good though. The music rises to a whole new level of bonkers when you realise he's playing all the guitar parts at the same time and the drummer plays the keyboard and the drums at once. Also, Tim Kinsella does the lindyhop. Obviously most important is the wonderful tunes, but still. Guitar wank! Dancing!
Lots of sad times for me.
and aren't very good.
go see this.
