young machetes and guy picciotto
this album is pure amazing, I mean I'd heard it before many times, hence it making my best of 2006. but I got the actual real copy for xmas, and by god, I can't stop listening.
It seems as heavy as ever, yet more accessible. The lyrics are incredible, and the production is so slick. the instrumentation sounds very seperate, there's less of the manic discord as seen on burn piano island burn. I know they were heading that way, but I think guy has really influenced how it was made, it sounds to me to have fugazi stamped all over it. I think it is probably their best to date. opinions?
