IMMUNE
Fucked up robots. Vintage synths. Kubrick films. Melting ice caps. Bad drugs. Gorgeous guitar sounds. A nuclear winter. King Crimson.
‘Schizophrenic, disturbing, dark for sure. But more than anything a piece of immense beauty.’- Tasty Fanzine
'the most stunning wall of screwed-up fucked-up sound'- Leeds Music Scene
TWENTYSIXFEET
Like Slint, Converge and The Cure banging heads with the whole of the Warp and Planet Mu rosters. You know how people always go on about 'bands that could show Radiohead a thing or two?' Well these guys really could. One of the best live shows we've ever seen, no joke.
'Many British bands are making such stirring music at the moment but few sound as quite as committed to the prospect of musical Armageddon- KKKK’- Kerrang
'devastatingly diverse noise, from ambient dub electronica to meshuggah-like staccato beats...well and truly hammer their way into the skulls of those gathered like a Zidane headbutt. Few are left in doubt that this band have much potential.'- Rocksound
THE BUTTERFLY
They've ingested tonnes of philosophy, a good deal of psychology, masses of avant-rock and washed it all down with choruses the size of Mt.Everest. And now they're going to spew it back up in our faces like only they can. “Like Justin Timberlake being drilled by Mastodon”, someone once said. Christ! They're doing some filming for a video at this gig, too.
‘The Butterfly really are a very good band. Bizarre. Possibly dangerously unhinged. But by my Greek Gods, they rock like a bunch of book reading, Mike Patton adoring bastards.’- Sandman Magazine
'Bass synths melt into twanging disco-guitars which in turn morph into crushing riffs. In the next thirty seconds the song travels through Mariachi and a capella segments before repeating each idea with more velocity. 8/10'- drownedinsound
ALEXANDER LAZARUS
Bastardized pop music from Nottingham auteur. Surreal, perverse fun of the highest order.
