Anyone expecting or at least wanting Gemini part two shouldn't be too disappointed.
Highly enjoyable, yes, but without any real bursts of pizazz it fades from memory too quickly to be considered a great album.
been a huge grower for me and now maybe my favourite release this year. definitely not as immediate as his earlier album but so damn good. easily and 8/9 for me.
it's very deceptive on first listen - as it flows so nicely, but it ends up really showing its depth after a few listens. Brilliant, truly.
thought 'oh not another dull fuzzy dream pop album' but it fucking gets its claws in doesn't it? Good stuff.
